What does your service cost?
The cost to maintain and clean your heating system will depend on what equipment you have
in place. A complementary estimate can be done over the phone based on a few simple
questions. An in-home estimate is also available on request - quotes are free!
How often do I need to keep a regular maintenance schedule?
There are no set rules on when the best time to service your furnace and air-conditioners are
other than "maintain a regular schedule which suits you and your own equipment". Mid
efficiency and high efficiency heating systems operate uniquely and require different
maintenance. We recommend annual servicing and cleaning, but people with allergies, pets
or young children may choose to clean the ductwork more often.
I have a new home, what do I need to know?
First time homeowners may not realize that the first cleaning of the heating system is
probably the most important clean! It is necessary to remove drywall and sawdust as well as
construction debris that ends up in the vents. Drywall dust is a huge problem as it solidifies
with the heat of the furnace and can cause the motors to seize. Approximately one year after
the first clean, a second cleaning will remove the airborne dust which will have settled in the
ductwork since the first cleaning.
We are planning to go away on a winter vacation, should we have our heating
system looked at?
Be sure your furnace is maintained before you take your winter vacations. You will have
peace of mind while you're away and avoid the possibility of frozen plumbing in a cold spell,
especially if you have not had your furnace inspected for a number of years.
I have cold areas in my house, is there anything you can do to resolve this problem?
Yes there is; we offer a heat distribution and balancing service for your house. We can
redirect more heat to the cold areas in your house.
What type of warranty do you provide?
We provide a one year (no cost) warranty with our annual service. A one year warranty
implies that our customers will not be required to pay for any service calls for one year from
our date of service regardless of the nature of the service provided. A customer may have
questions that arise with the furnace or a furnace may malfunction. Regardless, you can call
and you will not receive a service call charge.
